The Kindness Club
A Kindness Club read-aloud isn’t just story time, it’s a celebration of young voices!
Each book we read is written by a student from our publishing program, making every story extra special. When volunteers read tales to students created by someone their own age, it lights a spark. Suddenly, writing a book doesn’t feel like a far-off dream; it feels like something they can do, too!

A Kindness Club Volunteer will lead a 15-minute story time once a month in a registered classroom. Each session will feature an age-appropriate book selected from our catalog of published student authors. Following the read-aloud, the book will be donated to the classroom library, helping to build a special collection of titles written by student authors. Kindness is the currency, so the class will have to earn the books by completing a class checklist of 30 acts of kindness each month.
