Jayden was born on September 10, 2007, in Atlanta, Georgia. At an early age, Jayden was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. At the age of 4 years old, he had his first brain tumor resection and second resection at 8years old. Now, 6 years post-surgery and working through developmental challenges as a result of the tumor, Jayden is ambitious and focused on the future. He continues to exceed his goals with ongoing speech, occupational and physical therapy. Jayden is an avid swimmer, a top competitor on the swim team, and plays the piano. He enjoys history, golf, geography, traveling, exploring volcanoes, watching funny videos, and his favorite gamers on YouTube. After visiting New York City, he loved the architectural structure of the bridges and MTA system, that he is inspired to one day pursue a career in Structural Engineer. I have a big family of 8 members. I have my parents, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. I also have 5 dogs. My favorite subject in school is Social Studies. When I grow up, I want to be a doctor and help people. On my free time I like to go out with my family to eat at restaurants. My favorite restaurant is Black Bear Diner. The most important things to me are my family and my pets. Together, we can accomplish anything!

Ellie Krafcik
Ellie Krafcik is an eleven year old girl who loves writing almost as much as she loves cats. She says, “There’s nothing better than having a cat purr in your lap, staying silent, but saying everything at the same time.” Ellie also has a mind for Greek mythology. She is fascinated by all the stories and the god’s personalities. You may recognize that Aphrodite, the cat from her book, shares the same name with the Greek goddess of beauty and love.
In her free time, when she is not on her iPad, Ellie loves to be creative. She likes to practice doing art and has taught herself digital art which you see examples of in this story. She also loves making skits, including stop motion, practicing ventriloquism, doing crafts and playing outside.
In October of 2023, Ellie was presented with the opportunity to enter a writing competition. Without hesitation, she signed up. This book is the book that she wrote for that competition. She says that she is very proud of it.
